The Electronic Components Industry Association this week announced the addition of three new members to its board.
The group’s three councils, representing electronics distributors, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives, met at a joint session in Savannah last month, where the board of directors elected Ebm-Papst President and CEO Mark Shiring, Carlton-Bates General Manager Chris Wadsworth and Future Electronics executive Karim Yasmine to its ranks.
“We’re excited to welcome Mark, Chris, and Karim to the ECIA board and appreciate their dedication to the association,” ECIA President and CEO Bill Bradford said in a statement.
Bradford wrote following the meeting last month that the group would seek to expand its inventory listings and commission a study to help quantify the value of distributors.
