Microcontrollers Increase Functionality in Sensor Nodes

Microchip Technology expanded its tinyAVR MCU series with the ATtiny3217 and ATtiny3216.

The devices’ Analog-to-Digital Converters enable systems to implement touch control simultaneously with other analog measurements. One ADC can be used for touch signal acquisition, while the second monitors other inputs. Both ADCs can be used for faster sampling of different types of sensors.
