Recently, ATEK Access Technologies (EDEN PRAIRIE, MN) announced the availability of its Datakey Mini-Bar series, a compact portable memory system designed for Crypto Ignition Key (CIK) applications.
The Datakey Mini-Bar series provides a portable memory device used as a credential to enable or disable cryptographic equipment.
Features & Benefits:
- Measures 21 mm x 15 mm and is slightly larger than a microSD card
- Offers 16 Kbit and 256 Kbit serial EEPROM options with SPI or I²C interfaces
- Includes forthcoming models using secure memory ICs
- Supports customized tokens using customer-specified ICs
- Uses a receptacle design that allows corner integration to reduce internal enclosure volume
- Provides two receptacle styles:
- MBRHN receptacle with an 8-pin header connector, measuring 16.3 mm x 15.8 mm x 13.7 mm
- MBRFN receptacle with seven flat targets, measuring 16.3 mm x 15.8 mm x 9.1 mm, designed for FFC/FPC interface boards
- Offers receptacles with or without adhesive gaskets
- Achieves IP67 sealing when properly mounted
- Maintains slide-in/slide-out operation and MIL-STD-810 environmental performance
