Thermal Care (Niles, IL) has unveiled its new Oiltherm ROH Series hot oil temperature control units. With expanded heating and flow capabilities, the new Oiltherm ROH Series units signify a substantial advancement in performance and reliability. ROH Series units incorporate a user‐friendly, advanced touchscreen controller, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
Now with extended heating capacities of up to 90 kW and flow capabilities up to 50 GPM, the ROH Series unit is designed to provide optimum heat transfer. It introduces forced circulation of flow around the heating element, enabling higher capacities and reduced thermal oil volume while maintaining a safe maximum film temperature. The inclusion of a standard magnetic‐driven pump enhances efficiency without relying on wear‐prone mechanical seals.
The new ROH Series controller also incorporates ramp programming to make heating and cooling in cycle easier, and supports various interfaces, including TTY, Ethernet IP and Profibus. Notably, it provides remote control capability via smartphone or PC, enhancing the unit's flexibility and adaptability in diverse industrial settings. These features were not available on the previous generation of Oiltherm units.
In addition to the new Oiltherm ROH Series units, Thermal Care has upgraded its line of positive/negative pressure control units – the Vactherm RUV Series, to offer expanded heating capabilities of up to 27 kW and flow capabilities up to 80 GPM with a similar 3.5” touch screen Controller.
