Nissan Americas Changes Up Senior R&D Leadership

Nissan is strengthening its Research & Development organization, Nissan Technical Center North America (NTCNA), with several key executive appointments. NTCNA plays a critical role in shaping Nissan's future in the Americas. These leadership changes further advance and support Nissan's focus on these priorities.

  • Kiichi Namba and Kenichi Egawa, vice presidents, NTCNA, will return to Japan (NML). Their responsibilities will be shared across the three vice presidents named below.
  • John Schnoes is appointed vice president, Connected Car Services, Electrical, Digital Transformation, Engineering & R&D Strategic Planning, NTCNA.
  • Paul Peruski is appointed vice president, Project Management, Test & Quality Engineering, NTCNA.
  • Tomoyuki Hanyu is appointed vice president, Platform & Technology Engineering, NTCNA.

All appointments are effective April 1. They will report to Chris Reed, senior vice president, Research and Development, Nissan Americas, and be located in Farmington Hills.
