Taste Test: Mocktail Party

The mocktails might need a boozy boost.

Based in Washington, D.C., Mocktail Club offers non-alcoholic beverages that promise a taste of the world in four unique flavors.

Made in the U.S., the premium-crafted cocktails are available in Bombay Fire, Capri Sour, Havana Twist and Manhattan Berry.

Each provides a mix of antioxidants, like cardamom, chili peppers and lemongrass with prebiotics.

The company sent Food Manufacturing's Taste Test some samples to see if our taste buds would be tantalized.

Results were mixed.

The tea-based mocktails were more tolerable than tantalizing.

If anything, we thought they would make a good mixer.

It's odd, but Mocktail Club even states that the non-alcoholic drinks pair well with white rum or vodka.

The company hopes to carve out a niche in a non-alcoholic beverage market valued at $923 million in 2020.

The market is expected to grow to more than $1.7 trillion by 2028.

This batch of superfruits from organic juices stands a chance. Even if it needs a boozy boost.
