Meller Sapphire Windows are built to protect sensitive sensors and optics in systems exposed to harsh chemicals, high-speed particles, extreme temperatures, and intense pressures.

  • Mohs hardness of 9, second only to diamond
  • High optical clarity across UV to IR spectrum (up to 85% transmission)
  • A/R coatings available for enhanced transmission (>99%)

  • Thickness range: 0.5 mm to 1"
  • Flatness: up to 0.5 fringes of HeNe
  • Parallelism: 20 to 2 arc seconds
  • Surface finishes from 60-40 to 40-20 scratch-dig
