Appliance Portfolio of Tape Solutions Feature Noise, Vibration, Harshness Damping

Tapes feature ease of use, durability and damping properties that address engineering challenges.

Avery Dennison Performance Tapes

Avery Dennison Performance Tapes (Painesville, OH) announced a portfolio of pressure-sensitive-adhesive (PSA) tape solutions for the appliance industry. The portfolio features a breadth of tapes engineered to further ease of use and assembly, enhance product durability and improve noise/vibration/harshness (NVH) damping qualities for commercial and residential appliances.

With the addition of these products, users now have access to nearly 40 products designed for use in various applications, including: refrigerators, freezers, ovens, stovetops, dishwashers, dryers and washers.

  • Quick stick, shear and foam bonding qualities that include various types of constructions available for lamination, including: felt, flock, foam, high loft PET and many batting materials
  • Functions as lightweight alternative for screws, nuts and bolts
  • Easy-release liners with tape products can further facilitate assembly and also include constructions with finger-lift edge
  • Temperature, moisture and chemical robustness
  • Can be engineered for multi-substrate bonding, including high and low surface energy (HSE/LSE) substrates
  • Constructed with materials designed to absorb sound and vibration waves, solution that is already used in multiple industries including automotive, aerospace and transportation
