Plast-O-Matic Valves, Inc. (Cedar Grove, NJ) has introduced a line of manual and actuated ball valves molded in red pigmented Kynar PVDF to shield process liquids from UV damage and degradation.
The red Kynar material is recommended for chemical applications such as wet or dry chlorine, bromine, organic solvents, salt solutions, and other aggressive liquids in UV exposed piping systems. The 2-way valves are available in 3/8" - 2" sizes with FKM or EPDM seals in a variety of connection types including NPT, socket, BSP, and metric socket.
Multi-voltage electric actuation, pneumatic actuation, and custom actuation controls are available. Manual valves are also offered, including lock-out/tag-out, metering, and other accessories and features.
