The demand for higher power density in data centers and industrial environments is constantly growing. SCHURTER (Santa Rosa, CA) is responding to this development with the new 4770 dual block outlet, which is designed for a rated current of 16 A and optimized specifically for use in power distribution units (PDUs). The 4770 model combines a robust design with easy installation.
Thanks to its dual block configuration, the outlet can be integrated into power distribution units (PDUs) in a space-saving manner. The proven snap-in mounting system ensures quick and secure installation and reduces installation effort. Benefits include the following:
- The 4770 outlet is available in black, gray, or white, offering flexible design options for different applications (multi-phase systems).
- Various connection options (standard: QC 6.3 mm; QC 4.8 mm; solder connections, and PCB mounting available on request) allow easy adaptation to different wiring concepts.
- VDE, UL, and CCC certifications ensure international compliance and a high level of safety and reliability.
- The dual outlet is designed for currents of up to 16 A at 250 VAC according to IEC and 20 A at 250 VAC according to UL.
- It is designed for an operating temperature range of –25 °C to +70 °C. Installation is via snap-in mounting (standard: wall thicknesses 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm, 0.8 mm to 3.0 mm on request).
