NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Power management company Eaton today announced plans to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The more than $242 million plant is expected to create 1,200 new manufacturing, electrical and operations jobs, with technical skills training.
Eaton will manufacture customized electrical enclosures for its Fibrebond business in North Little Rock to meet the growing demand across the data center, utility, industrial and digital communications markets. The company expects to double its U.S. manufacturing capacity of electrical enclosures with the new factory. Eaton acquired Fibrebond, which is based in Minden, Louisiana, in April 2025 in a $1.4 billion deal.
"Customers are looking for ways to deploy critical power infrastructure faster, with greater certainty and less complexity," said Mike Yelton, president, Electrical Sector, Americas, Eaton. "This investment expands our ability to deliver custom modular electrical enclosures while strengthening our U.S. manufacturing capacity and skilled workforce." Yelton added that the investment will help support customers with the speed, scale and expertise needed to meet growing demand.

Eaton will be hiring for a range of roles at the 1 million-square-foot facility. The company will provide hands-on training and career advancement opportunities, enabling employees to develop technical skills for higher-skilled roles.
This project was a collaboration between the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the City of North Little Rock, and the Metro Little Rock Alliance led by the Little Rock Regional Chamber.
Clint O’Neal, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, said Eaton selected North Little Rock after a competitive site search.
Eaton currently has positions available for a plant manager, operational excellence manager, plant finance manager, environmental, health and safety manager and facilities and maintenance manager.
Eaton has been investing heavily in its U.S. manufacturing capabilities of late. In April, Eaton announced an investment of more than $30 million to increase U.S. production of its medium-voltage switchgear in Nebraska.
The company is also planning a new manufacturing campus in Virginia for critical power distribution technologies to help meet record demand from data center customers.
Founded in 1911, Eaton reached revenues of $27.4 billion in 2025, and the company serves customers in 180 countries.
