Wildflower Solar is online and generating clean power in DeSoto County, Mississippi. This significant milestone marks the first investment of Deriva Energy in Mississippi.
In addition to its environmental benefits, Wildflower Solar provides significant economic advantages to DeSoto County. The project employed close to 300 construction workers during installation and will continue to offer long-term employment opportunities while contributing to the local tax base and selling renewable power to Toyota Motor North America. Contracting for renewable energy from the Wildflower project stands at the forefront of Toyota's corporate sustainability initiatives.
With Wildflower Solar operational, Toyota continues to advance on the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2035.
