The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of Blue Panda/Soldier Force Army Action Figure Playsets and Butterfly Net Sets over high levels of phthalates and lead.
According to the CPSC, components of the nets and army toys, manufactured in China and imported by Juvo Plus of Monrovia, California, contain certain phthalates and lead that exceed federal standards, both are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause health problems.
The recall affects about 22,500 butterfly net sets and 4,500 action figure playsets.

The toys were sold online by multiple retailers. The nets were available for nearly five years, from September 2017 through June 2022 for about $10, the army sets retailed for $35 and were available from February 2018 through June 2022.
No injuries or incidents have been reported, but customers are instructed to immediately take the toys away from children and contract Juvo Plus for a refund.
To receive a full refund, consumers have to register the products and submit a photo proving that the products have been thrown away or otherwise destroyed.
