MariMed’s recent “World’s Largest Cannabis Brownie” public relations campaign is earning national recognition.
Late last year, the company’s confectioners baked an 850-pound brownie infused with 20,000 mg of THC.
The massive treat was created to highlight the launch of MariMed’s Bubby’s Baked infused baked goods product line.
MariMed said press coverage of the campaign generated more than five billion consumer impressions.
The giant confection appeared on “Saturday Night Live” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” along with national publications like USA Today.
The American Business Awards honored the campaign with a 2022 Gold “Stevie” Award for “Communications Campaign of the Year.”
The campaign was also a finalist for a Public Relations Society of America “Bronze Anvil.”
