Burckhardt Compression (US), Inc., has achieved ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations for the Systems and Services divisions at its regional headquarters in Waller, Texas. Third-party international legal standards for quality, environmental, and safety management systems respectively, these certifications show Burckhardt Compression’s commitment to consistently excellent operating standards.
The Waller facility achieved its accreditations after an evidenced-based internal audit to establish if it conformed to ISO norms, followed by a three-day in-person third-party assessment by Bureau Veritas involving interviews with key employees and a review of all relevant documentation. Long-term planning ahead of the audits meant that no changes in practices were required for either division to meet ISO standards.
The ISO accreditations are further progress in Burckhardt Compression’s Mid-Range Plan (MRP) 2027, not only in terms of continuously improving operational excellence, but also managing our environmental impact across all aspects of the business to significantly reduce emissions not only in terms of continuously improving operational excellence and managing our environmental impact across all aspects of the business, but also to improve employee retention and advance our safety culture..
The long-term aim is to bring all Burckhardt Compression (US) facilities up to the same certification. Consequently, customers can expect the highest management standards for both compression products and services.
